On 18th of February 2013 association Nova Generacija launched Blue Phone, a free helpline for children.

The objective of establishing this type of helpline was to provide advice and support to children in difficult and crisis situations, especially in cases of violence and exploitation. Since the line is recognized by the children in a more wider context, the line is opened for all problems that children feel they need support and advice on.
Phone calls are answered by an active and trained volunteers, which have undergone 36 hours of training. The volunteers also have constant training and supervision in order to provide more support for children.

Blue telephone line is anonymous, and callers do not necessary have to leave personal information, even in cases where one wishes to report violence against a child.

The line is open every workday from 10 am to 16 pm.

The line is now free for callers from landline and mobile phones of  M:tel network.

Our ambition is that Blue Phone would be available 24 hours, seven days a week and to cover the entire territory of the Republic of Srpska, and later on Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Area of activity will expand when funding possibilities Blue Phone are sufficient. At this moment Blue Phone is largely financed by the Association with the support of the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports, and the city of Banja Luka.
